Data Entry Specialist

Whitecap Search is seeking a dedicated individual for a temporary project with potential for extension based on performance. The role involves managing and processing high-volume data transactions, specifically related to tax lien redemptions. This opportunity is perfect for someone with strong organizational skills and a detail-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities:

• Process high-volume tax lien redemptions, including data entry and transaction updates within internal systems.
• Reconcile redemption activity and maintain accurate portfolio records.
• Receive, organize, and process a high volume of checks and paper-based tax lien documentation.
• Retrieve tax certificates and related documents from secure storage/lockbox facilities and coordinate their processing.
• Communicate with counties, municipalities, and other government entities regarding tax lien certificates and redemptions.
• Assist with the day-to-day servicing of the tax lien portfolio and support the team as responsibilities evolve.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure transactions and documentation are properly processed.

Requirements:

• Excel experience required (SUMIF, V/X Lookups, etc).
• Prior Accounting experience is a plus.
• 3-5 years of prior experience, this cannot be the candidate's first job.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail are extremely important.
• Onsite presence is mandatory, working hours are 9-5, Monday to Friday.
