EMPLOYMENT & LABOR LAW ATTORNEY (Mid-Level to Senior)
Omaha Office (Regency) or Lincoln (13th& M)
Full-Time
We are looking for an attorney with a strong foundation in employment and labor law, ideally representing employers, who is ready to contribute at a high level while continuing to grow within a supportive and team-oriented environment.
About the Role
You will work closely with a tight-knit employment and labor team that collaborates across all three of our offices and meets regularly to ensure consistency, quality, and strategic alignment in client service. This is not a siloed role, you will be part of a group that actively supports one another and shares knowledge.
Our clients span a wide range of industries, and we pride ourselves on delivering clear, actionable guidance that helps them make confident decisions in real time.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise employers on a broad range of employment and labor law matters
- Handle administrative agency matters (EEOC, NLRB, state agencies)
- Draft and review employment policies, agreements, and handbooks
- Support or lead litigation matters, depending on experience
- Partner with clients on day-to-day counseling and risk mitigation
- Collaborate with attorneys across offices and practice areas
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school and licensed in Nebraska
- 8+ years of experience in employment and labor law (employer-side preferred)
- Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to provide clear, concise, and practical legal advice
- Sound judgment and confidence in decision-making
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to engage across teams
- Professional demeanor, discretion, and strong commitment to client service
- Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
- Tech-comfortable and willing to learn new systems and processes including integration of AI
- Reliable, highly responsive, resourceful, and team-oriented
- Flexible and adaptable; enjoys fast paced work
