Whether youre advancing your career or growing your skillset, we are here to drive you forward.Role ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough cosmetic inspections to identify detailing needs and ensure vehicles meet CarMaxs quality standards.Perform expert detailing services, including paint retouching, waxing, buffing, and interior cleaning, to restore vehicles to CarMax quality standards.Repair and replace small parts and components to maintain full functionality and aesthetic appeal.Apply advanced techniques for sanding, masking, and finishing to achieve flawless results.Maintain a safe, organized, and clean workspace while adhering to CarMaxs safety protocols.Follow CarMax Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) requirements and maintain a clean and orderly work area.Required QualificationsStrong manual dexterity and physical stamina to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.Exceptional attention to detail and a customer-first mindset.Valid drivers license and ability to operate vehicles safely.Preferred QualificationsHands-on experience in automotive detailing, including washing, waxing, buffing, sanding, masking, and minor repairs.Familiarity with paint application and finishing techniques for superior results.About CarMaxAt CarMax, we revolutionized the used car buying experience over 30 years ago by introducing transparency and integrity into the process. For 8 hours of pay for each of a total of 6 paid scheduled holidays per year plus 1 floating holiday. If such an Associate does work on a scheduled holiday due to business need, they are eligible for Holiday Premium Pay.
