Position Overview Now Hiring: Seasonal Banquet Server Join Our Team and Help Create Memorable Events! We are looking for friendly, dependable, and service-minded Seasonal Banquet Servers to join our team and help create exceptional experiences for members and their guests. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants flexible seasonal work in a beautiful hospitality setting. You’ll support a variety of events, including private parties, weddings, member functions, golf tournaments, holiday celebrations, and special events. What You’ll Do Set up banquet rooms and event spaces according to event specifications. Arrange tables, chairs, linens, place settings, buffet stations, and service equipment. Welcome members and guests with a warm, professional attitude. Serve food and beverages efficiently and courteously. Learn and follow banquet menus, beverage offerings, and event timelines. Anticipate guest needs and provide attentive, personalized service. Clear and reset tables and replenish beverages throughout events. Assist with buffet setup, replenishment, and breakdown. Work closely with banquet captains, supervisors, culinary staff, and other team members. Maintain clean and organized banquet rooms, service stations, and storage areas. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service requirements. Assist with event breakdown, cleaning, equipment storage, and room resets. Perform other duties as needed to support successful events. What We’re Looking For Previous experience in banquets, restaurants, hotels, country clubs, or hospitality is preferred but not required . Previous bartending or beverage service experience is a plus. Excellent customer service and communication skills. A positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude. Ability to remain organized and composed in a busy event environment. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Dependable, punctual, and flexible. Comfortable working with members and guests in a professional setting. Schedule This is a seasonal position with hours based on the club's event schedule and business needs. Must be available to work: Evenings Weekends Holidays Varying hours based on scheduled events This position can be a great fit for candidates looking for seasonal, part-time, or supplemental hospitality work. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Frequently lift and carry up to 30 pounds. Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds with assistance. Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and carry trays, dishes, and banquet equipment. Comfortable working indoors and outdoors depending on the event.
