Shift: Night 3x12-hour (19:00 - 07:00) / alternative mid shift (15:00 - 03:00)

Hours/week: 36 hours/week

Certifications: ARRT(R)(CT), BLS required

Experience: Minimum 2 years of CT experience, including trauma CT, ER, and inpatient settings; Siemens FORCE Scanner experience essential

What You'll Do

• Perform high-quality CT scans in an emergency department setting, including trauma, stroke, and routine ED patients
• Work with Siemens and GE scanners, including the FORCE and S3000/Sequoia models
• Collaborate with a team of 4-5 techs during day shifts, and smaller teams during evenings and weekends
• Maintain patient safety and comfort while ensuring timely imaging for critical diagnoses
• Operate EPIC and Visage systems for patient records and image management
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards
• Contribute to a busy workflow with approximately 8-12 patients per shift

What You Need

• ARRT(R)(CT) certification
• BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of experience in inpatient or ER CT imaging, including trauma scans (abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal)
• Siemens FORCE Scanner experience is a MUST
• Experience with GE CT equipment is preferred
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and accommodate schedule for quick start

• Outpatient imaging experience
• Skills in IV starts, PACS, contrast procedures, Visage system
• Experience handling high-volume trauma and emergency imaging

About the Assignment Join a high-volume emergency department in a leading hospital in Charlotte, NC, performing routine and specialized CT imaging for diverse patient populations, including infants, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. This fast-paced unit handles approximately 150-200 scans daily, with case types ranging from trauma to stroke. The successful candidate will work on Siemens scanners, including the FORCE model, and be integral to delivering timely, accurate imaging crucial for emergent care.
