With an immediate start following clearance, you’ll be working up to 35 hours a week through June 28, 2027. The assignment rotates throughout various buildings, allowing you to adapt and grow while engaging with diverse students and school settings. Schedules typically fall between 8:30 am and 3:00 pm, providing flexibility from one assignment to the next.

Qualifications:

• Current OT licensure in New York, with strong knowledge of school-based and home health therapy best practices
• Experience working with pediatric populations, especially in educational settings
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing caseloads and environments
• Outstanding organizational and time management skills
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities with staff, parents, and students

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality occupational therapy services to an average of 10-12 students per day
• Collaborate with teachers and school teams to support students’ IEP goals
• Travel between school buildings as required, adapting to evolving student needs
• Document evaluations, progress reports, and daily treatment notes in compliance with regulatory standards
• Engage with families, offering guidance and support to maximize outcomes for each child
