As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Badge Administration in New Holland, PA , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

• Access Control/Badge Experience (B201) : Familiarity with managing access control systems and issuing badges.
• Alarm Panel Experience (B202) : Experience in monitoring and responding to alarm systems.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204) : Proficiency in using technology for reporting and communication.
• Customer Service Experience (B219) : A strong background in providing excellent customer service and maintaining a positive environment.

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and support site access requirements.
• Screen incoming and outgoing personnel, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures, escalating discrepancies through established channels.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate site contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production-area perimeters, parking areas, and other designated locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
