We are seeking a diligent Facilities Technician to ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of our facilities. This role involves performing routine maintenance and upkeep of common areas, meeting rooms, and lunchroom equipment, as well as assisting with hazardous waste collection, handling, and disposal. You will play a crucial part in maintaining a professional and safe environment by conducting spot cleaning of high-traffic areas and supporting the assembly, disassembly, and relocation of office furniture and workspaces. Additionally, you will contribute to the organization of internal events and partner with the Marketing team to manage clinical and trade show equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and upkeep of common areas, meeting rooms, and lunchroom equipment.

• Conduct spot cleaning of high-traffic areas to maintain a professional and safe environment.

• Assist with hazardous waste collection, handling, and disposal in accordance with safety regulations.

• Assemble, move, and disassemble office furniture, including cubicles and workstations.

• Support employee office and workspace relocations across departments.

• Assist in execution of internal events and facility-related activities.

• Partner with the Marketing team to move, organize, and palletize clinical and trade show equipment.

• Assist with routine (daily, weekly, monthly) inspections and maintenance of facility spaces and equipment.

• Support paint, parking lot, and general building maintenance activities.

• Assist the Facilities Supervisor with troubleshooting and maintaining facility systems and equipment.

• Manage safe handling, movement, and storage of batteries across warehouse and production areas.

• Support Production and Shipping teams with facility organization and 5S initiatives.

• Contribute to warehouse and factory organization efforts to improve efficiency and safety.

• Perform shipping support as needed.

• Perform day-to-day facilities tasks as required to assist the Facilities Supervisor.

Essential Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical or facilities training preferred.

• 1-2 years of experience in facilities, maintenance, or a related role.

• Basic knowledge of building maintenance, safety practices, and equipment handling.

• Ability to safely lift, move, and assemble furniture and equipment.

• Familiarity with 5S or lean principles is a plus.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and respond to changing operational needs.

• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

• Regular standing, walking, bending, and lifting (up to 50 lbs).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Work in office, warehouse, and production environments.

• Occasional use of tools and equipment for maintenance and assembly.

Work Environment

The position requires working Monday through Friday from 6 am to 2:30 pm. The work involves regular standing, walking, bending, and lifting in office, warehouse, and production environments. It is essential to be comfortable using tools and equipment for maintenance and assembly tasks.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Bothell, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
