Development & Partnerships Coordinator

WisdomPhilanthropy is expanding its U.S. operations in Central Florida and is seeking a motivated Development & Partnerships Coordinator to help build the funding and relationships needed to support our charitable programs.

WisdomPhilanthropy has already established its programs and strategic direction. Your role will be to help identify and pursue funding opportunities, develop sponsorships and strategic partnerships, and coordinate fundraising initiatives that generate resources to support our programs.

This is a hands-on, results-driven role for someone who can work independently, identify opportunities, and follow through.

• Research and pursue foundation, corporate, and government grants.
• Prepare grant applications, LOIs, proposals, and supporting materials.
• Build and maintain a qualified funding pipeline and grant calendar.
• Identify and approach potential corporate sponsors.
• Develop relationships with nonprofits, businesses, schools, government agencies, and community organizations.
• Seek financial and in-kind contributions, donated resources, and volunteer partnerships.
• Develop and execute practical fundraising campaigns and events.
• Create sponsorship and partnership proposals.
• Track outreach, applications, follow-ups, deadlines, and results.
• Provide concise progress updates and maintain organized development records.

Preferred qualifications include:

• 1-3+ years of experience in nonprofit development, grant writing, fundraising, partnerships, business development, or a related field.
• Experience researching and preparing grant applications or funding proposals.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong research and organizational skills.
• Comfortable conducting outreach and building professional relationships.
• Ability to manage multiple opportunities and deadlines independently.
• Proficiency with common productivity tools such as Google Workspace or Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently in a primarily remote environment.
• Located in or able to participate in occasional activities and meetings in Central Florida.

Strong pluses:

• Previous success securing grants, sponsorships, or in-kind support.
• Existing relationships within Central Florida's nonprofit, business, philanthropic, or government communities.
• Experience planning or executing fundraising campaigns or events.
• Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, communications, business, public administration, or a related field.

Relevant experience and demonstrated ability are more important to us than a specific degree.

$18-25/hour , based on experience, for approximately 10 - 15 hours per week .

This is an initial 90-day independent-contractor (1099) engagement with an opportunity to earn a performance bonus of up to $1,000 based on agreed objectives.

Strong performance may lead to an extended contract, increased hours and compensation, expanded responsibilities, or consideration for a future employee position as WisdomPhilanthropy's U.S. operations grow.
