Role Overview

This position involves providing comprehensive nursing care in a high-acuity environment, serving as a primary or accountable nurse, and supporting patient education, medication administration, and resource management.

Key Responsibilities

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Educate patients and families on health and disease management. Administer medications following policies and standards. Support staffing, supplies, and resource utilization. Participate in shared governance, quality improvement, and peer review. Mentor new staff and students, and perform charge nurse duties when assigned. Engage in professional development and continuing education.

Qualifications & Skills

Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred. Current RN license in the state; CCRN and additional certifications like ACLS or PALS are advantageous. Compassionate, team-oriented, adaptable, and committed to excellence. Excellent communication, collaboration, and adherence to professional standards.

Work Environment

Fast-paced clinical setting with frequent physical activity, exposure to disinfectants, and PPE use, serving patients of all ages.
