As a School Psychologist working with the Promising Students Program, you'll provide compassionate, trauma-informed services to help at-risk students overcome barriers and achieve academic and personal success.

Your expertise in behavioral intervention and counseling will play a pivotal role in nurturing student growth and resilience. This contract position offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams dedicated to restorative practices and comprehensive student support.

Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
• Expertise in behavioral assessments and interventions
• Strong counseling and crisis response background
• Experience supporting students with significant behavioral or emotional needs
• Proficient in completing FBAs, BIPs, and psychoeducational evaluations
• Skilled in collaborating with educators, families, and support staff

Your Role Will Include:

• Providing individual and small-group counseling sessions to promote emotional regulation and problem-solving
• Conducting detailed psychoeducational and behavioral assessments
• Leading and documenting Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs)
• Assisting in developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
• Supporting Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and participating in IEP and 504 planning
• Consulting with teachers, specialists, and families to drive student success
• Participating in crisis response initiatives and developing transition plans for smooth student reintegration

This full-time position (37.5 hours per week) offers competitive compensation, with rates aligned to your expertise in the range previously mentioned for similarly skilled professionals.
