Production Operator

Ashland Specialty Ingredients, GP is looking for a Chemical Operator to join our Specialty Ingredients G.P Business in Wilmington, DE. This position reports to the Plant Manager. Responsibilities Maintain compliance with all health, safety, environmental procedures and guidelines. Receive materials into the limited access warehouse (LAW) per the appropriate procedures. Prepare for production, raw material staging and weighing. Perform all manufacturing duties per the associated work instruction including set‑up, operation and cleaning of manufacturing equipment. Perform all necessary SAP transactions. Package final product & prepare shipments. Complete all GMP documentation. Perform general housekeeping in the GMP production area. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Willingness to work rotating shifts, holidays, and overtime as required. Good interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. Ability to lift 55 lbs on a regular basis. High level of mechanical aptitude. Ability to clearly record observations in written form. Ability to follow and complete written directions. Ability to work around strong magnets. Preferred Qualifications Experience in GMP or Chemical Manufacturing. Forklift experience. General computer experience.
