Location: Jonesboro, Arkansas
Schedule: Monday-Friday | No Weekends
Pay Rate: $55-$60 per flag hour
Pay Type: Flat Rate
Earning Potential: $120,000+ annually
Introduction
We are seeking an experienced Light-Duty Diesel Technician to join a professional, high-performing repair shop specializing in diesel pickup trucks. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced diesel technician or a skilled automotive technician looking to transition into diesel. Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced diagnostics and drivability troubleshooting on light to medium-duty diesel pickup trucks.
- Diagnose and repair engine, fuel system, turbocharger, cooling system, suspension, brake, and electrical system concerns.
- Remove and replace engines and transmissions.
- Pull truck cabs as required for major repairs.
- Complete digital vehicle inspections and accurately document repair recommendations.
- Test drive vehicles to verify repairs and ensure quality workmanship.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of professional automotive technician experience.
- Diesel repair experience preferred.
- Experienced automotive technicians interested in transitioning into diesel are encouraged to apply.
- Advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Own professional technician tools.
- Team-oriented with a strong commitment to quality workmanship.
Compensation & Benefits
- Flat-rate pay of $55-$60 per flag hour
- $120,000+ annual earning potential
- 40-hour guarantee available for up to four weeks upon request
