Production Operator - 1st and 2nd Shift only

Job Type Full-time Description Role and responsibilities for the processing position in a food manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Work in a safe manner and follow safety guidelines. Understand and follow Food Safety policies. Be willing to work flexible schedules, including other departments, weekends and holidays. Read and understand recipes. Troubleshoot process‑related issues within the recipe boundaries. Use digital scales and maintain knowledge of scale functions. Mix doughs according to recipe and operate mixer, timer, and batch recipe system. Follow FIFO (First in, First Out), record mix lot numbers and maintain documentation accuracy. Clean and refill ingredient bins and label bins with the correct lot number. Work standing for the entire shift and be able to climb steps and ladders. Lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly. Monitor and assist with upstream/downstream equipment to ensure continuous operation. Clean mixers, work areas properly during and after production runs or changeovers. Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area. Observe all plant safety, GMP and allergen procedures and attend required training sessions. Manufacture, distribute and consistently maintain safe and quality food following good manufacturing practices, allergen controls, food defense, HACCP and SQF. Immediately report all food safety and quality issues to your supervisor. Follow supervisor’s directives and support the shift team as needed. Qualifications and Education Requirements Educational background: N/A Experience: Must have experience operating and maintaining machines and ensuring the entire production line runs efficiently. Preferred Skills Effective communication with colleagues and management. Understanding of FDA guidelines and company policies. Mathematical skills. Bilingual preferred.
