Receptionist - JLL What this job involves The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for employees, guests, and vendors while providing essential administrative and office support functions. This role helps create a welcoming and professional workplace environment by managing front desk operations, coordinating visitor services, supporting office logistics, and assisting with day-to-day facility needs. The position plays an important role in maintaining efficient workplace operations and delivering a positive experience for employees and visitors alike. What your day-to-day will look like: Greet and assist employees, guests, visitors, and vendors while providing exceptional customer service and workplace support Manage front desk operations including answering incoming calls, handling visitor requests, maintaining phone lists, and supporting administrative tasks Coordinate package deliveries, mail services, and serve as a point of contact for vendors and contractors Maintain the appearance and organization of lobby and common areas while reporting maintenance or facility issues as needed Support office operations including conference room coordination, badging assistance, visitor scheduling, and site leadership calendar support Assist with office and building maintenance scheduling and help resolve issues related to workplace services Communicate effectively with employees, visitors, and leadership while responding to requests with professionalism and minimal supervision Required Qualifications: High school diploma or GED equivalent 1-2 years of experience in customer service, hospitality, office administration, or related environments Experience supporting front desk or reception operations in a professional setting Strong customer service, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Ability to work full-time onsite and maintain a flexible schedule when needed for event support Preferred Qualifications: Associate degree or completion of college coursework 3+ years of administrative, workplace, or facilities support experience Experience supporting multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced office environment Background in hospitality, commercial real estate, or corporate office settings Familiarity with visitor management, badging, or workplace service coordination Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail Ability to work independently while managing competing priorities effectively Location Franklin, TN Work Shift Full Time - 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM; flexibility required occasionally for onsite event support This position does not provide visa sponsorship.
