Contract Details

Position Type: Contract
Contract Duration: 3 months
Pay Rate: $66.00-$70.00 / Hour (USD)
Shift / Schedule: D/N rotating shift: 7:00 PM-7:30 AM / 7:00 AM-7:30 PM (3×12 Hours). Shifts may be variable; if needed to meet the operational needs of the hospital, the facility will do their best to honor the traveler's preferred shift but reserves the right to rotate if necessary.
Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Job Summary

This is a travel nursing assignment on the HVTI-Stepdown unit at a major hospital main campus, with potential to float to units J1-2, J33, and the ED to care for the same patient population.

Key Responsibilities

Provide step-down nursing care on the HVTI-Stepdown unit.
Float to units J1-2, J33, and ED as needed to care for the same patient population.
Work at least every other holiday.
Complete ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation; an acceptable score on both assessments is required.

Education Requirements

Must have a permanent Ohio RN license or compact state license in hand at time of placement.
AHA or client BLS certification required.
ACLS certification required.
NIHSS certification required.

Required Experience

Minimum 12 months of permanent (non-travel) experience in the specialty applying for (Step Down) is required.

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

COVID-19 vaccination required; medical/religious exemptions considered.
Flu vaccination required; medical/religious exemptions considered.
