Pay: $25–$28 per hour
Schedule: 1st Shift

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk for a temporary opportunity with our client in Cincinnati, Ohio. This position is ideal for someone with strong AP experience who is comfortable working in a fast-paced accounting environment and handling high-volume invoice processing.
Responsibilities:
- Process and enter vendor invoices accurately and efficiently
- Review invoices for proper approvals, coding, and supporting documentation
- Perform three-way matching of purchase orders, invoices, and receiving documentation
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues
- Assist with check runs, ACH payments, and other vendor payments
- Reconcile vendor statements and maintain accurate AP records
- Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding invoice and payment questions
- Assist with month-end close and AP reconciliations as needed
- Maintain organized electronic and physical accounting documentation
- Support additional accounting and administrative projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous Accounts Payable or related accounting experience required
- Experience with high-volume invoice processing preferred
- Understanding of invoice coding, purchase orders, and three-way matching
- Strong Microsoft Excel and data-entry skills
- Experience with ERP or accounting software preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to research discrepancies and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
