Senior Manager, Product Strategy

Senior Manager, Product Strategy Reports to the Senior Director of Product Strategy. Supports product teams across Salesforce’s portfolio to build and implement winning product strategies. About the Role Define and execute product strategies that address key customer challenges and deliver disproportionate business value. Partner with product leaders to inform development roadmaps and drive execution of strategic plans. Create financial models to forecast revenue, define key performance metrics, and build business cases for new opportunities. Present strategic insights and summaries to the Executive Leadership Team and Board of Directors. Analyze portfolio‑level product performance, recommend optimizations for resource allocation, and guide trade‑offs to maximize long‑term growth. Support M&A due diligence by articulating product strategy, defining deal theses, and modeling potential synergies. Act as an industry and market expert to provide actionable insights into emerging opportunities and competitive positioning. Required Skills & Experience 4‑5 years in management consulting, product management, or corporate strategy at a large enterprise software company. Ability to learn quickly across industries and apply lessons to new situations. Strong analytical skills: work with databases, extract insights, and model financial scenarios. Hands‑on financial analysis and Excel modeling expertise. Experience conducting qualitative and quantitative market research. Demonstrated skill in running workstreams and building cross‑functional relationships. Degree or equivalent relevant experience required; Master’s degree preferred. In selected cities such as San Francisco and New York City, the range is $180,200 – $247,900 annually. This range is base salary only and does not include bonus, equity, or other compensation.
