About the Position – Responsibilities & Duties Waga Energy is looking for a Business Analyst in our Miami, FL office. The Business Analyst supports the full lifecycle of WAGABOX® project development, from market intelligence and financial analysis to proposal creation and project execution. Drive proposal development by coordinating inputs from internal stakeholders and ensuring timely, high‑quality submissions. Build and refine project financial models, including scenario and sensitivity analyses to support investment decisions. Prepare and deliver commercial presentations, executive summaries, and other materials for internal and external audiences. Participate in customer meetings and support customer‑facing activities, including the preparation of technical and commercial documentation. Coordinate internal review processes for proposals, commercial offers, and project approvals. Prepare submissions of commercial proposals, including public Requests for Proposals. Conduct market, client, and industry research to identify opportunities, assess risks, and support the development of competitive win strategies. Perform and present data analysis and feasibility studies to evaluate project viability and inform strategic decision‑making. Maintain and enhance sales performance dashboards and other business development reporting tools. Collaborate closely with the Business Development team to align project strategies with customer needs and market dynamics. Provide general administrative and analytical support to the Business Development team as required. About You – Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the energy, infrastructure, or environmental services industry. Familiarity with renewable natural gas, landfill gas, or broader clean‑energy markets. Experience supporting commercial negotiations or project development activities. Knowledge of project finance principles or energy‑sector economics. Strong analytical capabilities, including experience with financial modeling and quantitative analysis. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to translate complex information into clear, compelling insights. Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Self‑motivated, autonomous, and comfortable taking initiative. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with CRM or BI tools is a plus. Ability to accommodate occasional travel, including overnight stays.
