Controller – immediate opening - $60-$75/hr (doe) | Temp to Possible Perm | Hybrid (1-2 days in office)

Our client, a well-established and growing manufacturing organization in Danbury, CT, is seeking a Controller. This is an opportunity to step into a highly visible role where your expertise will directly influence operational success, financial performance, and future growth initiatives.

Summary

We are seeking a Hands-On Financial Controller to lead daily accounting operations, monthly close activities, and financial reporting. This role manages the full accounting cycle—AP/AR, cash management, reconciliations, and process improvement—while partnering with global teams and supporting cross-departmental needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations: AR/AP, cash disbursements, cash forecasting, reconciliations, and invoice processing.

• Manage monthly close: accruals, inventory/costing adjustments, depreciation, intercompany reconciliations, and tax-related entries.

• Improve accounting processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

• Provide ad-hoc financial and analytical support to the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with full-cycle accounting and monthly closings.

• MS Office - Advanced Excel skills and accounting ERP software

• Ability to work independently with strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Hours – 8am – 4pm, Monday – Friday

Location – Danbury, CT – must be in-office 1-2 days per week

Pay rate - $ 60 – $75 hr depending on experience

4-6 Month Temporary Assignment (possible to go perm)

Pay Details: $60.00 to $75.00 per hour
