If so, please read on! Responsibilities They will play a crucial role in fostering a positive and supportive learning environment where students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. They will plan, prepare and deliver engaging and interactive lessons and activities based on the established curriculum, ensuring alignment with learning objectives and standards and adapting teaching materials and methods to meet the diverse needs of students in the classroom. Candidates should be able to establish and maintain a safe, orderly, and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and implement effective classroom management strategies to promote positive behavior and social‑emotional growth. The successful candidate will maintain open and clear communication with parents/guardians regarding students’ progress and classroom activities as well as collaborate with other teachers, specialists, and support staff to ensure a holistic approach to student development. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education or the equivalent; advanced degrees are strongly encouraged; state certification is not required. A strong commitment to educating a diverse student body within a caring and creative environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Previous teaching experience in an elementary classroom. Strong references who confirm the applicant’s ability to exercise sound professional judgment.
