Job Summary:

Seeking experienced Registered Nurses specializing in Mother Baby/Postpartum care to deliver comprehensive patient support in a fast-paced healthcare setting. The roles require clinical expertise, compassionate patient interaction, and efficient care delivery.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Provide direct nursing care to postpartum mothers and their newborns, ensuring safety and comfort.
  
  
• 
  Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and manage postpartum recovery processes.
  
  
• 
  Educate new mothers on breastfeeding, infant care, and postpartum health practices.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  
  
• 
  Document patient progress and updates accurately in the EMR system.
  
  
• 
  Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, infection control measures, and facility policies.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Current New York State Registered Nurse license in hand prior to submission.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Mother Baby or Postpartum nursing.
  
  
• 
  Strong knowledge of postpartum care, neonatal protocols, and patient education.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work night shifts (3x12 hours) effectively and efficiently.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrated proficiency in using EMR systems, specifically Paragon training will be provided.
  
  
• 
  Excellent communication and compassionate patient interaction skills.
