Senior Principal Systems Engineer

Designing, implementing, and testing distributed control systems, the full-time Senior Principal Systems & Controls Engineer will oversee engineering design and support for nuclear power industry projects, while working onsite in Idaho Falls or remotely. Key responsibilities Manage engineering design, construction, and installation of control systems, ensuring quality and adherence to technical standards Coordinate with internal teams to allocate resources and monitor project progress, while mentoring engineering teams for skill advancement Develop and review system requirements, troubleshoot issues, and ensure effective communication with customers throughout project lifecycles Required qualifications 10+ years of experience in systems engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership role Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field Experience with PLC and DCS programming and design, including interfacing with field devices Ability to generate conceptual designs for complex systems and develop proposals for projects Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (less than 10%)
