Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:
- Valid North Carolina Special Education License
- Appropriate credentials and certifications in Special Education
- Previous experience with behavior intervention and support is preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills
- Passion for supporting teens with varying abilities
Role Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Foster growth in academic, social, and emotional skill areas
- Utilize strategies for behavior management and positive reinforcement
- Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff
- Maintain thorough and compliant records, documentation, and progress reports
- Engage with parents and guardians as educational partners
- Inspire a positive learning environment where every student can thrive
Hours & Schedule:
- Full-time, Monday through Friday
- Work with high school-age students in a dynamic setting
- Manage and support an assigned caseload
