Position Highlights

• Join a highly specialized neurosurgery service focused on complex cranial and skull-based procedures.
• Blend of inpatient management and outpatient follow-up care.
• Manage patients throughout the surgical continuum, from pre-op evaluation through post-op recovery.
• Work closely with neurosurgeons, APPs, nursing teams, and ancillary staff.
• Participate in complex patient care planning and multidisciplinary rounds.

Ideal Background

• Experienced Neurosurgery NP or PA seeking a high-acuity practice environment.
• Comfortable managing hospitalized neurosurgical patients.
• Experienced with pre-operative and post-operative care.
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently within a collaborative care model.
• Prior experience with cranial, neuro, spine, trauma, or surgical patient populations preferred.

Minimum Qualifications

Required Experience

• Minimum 1-2 years of inpatient neurosurgery experience.
• Experience caring for surgical patients in an acute care setting.

Required Licensure & Certifications

• Active California NP or PA license.
• DEA with Schedule II prescribing authority.
• AHA BLS certification.

For Nurse Practitioners

• Acute Care NP certification required.
