Business Development Manager

Talentmark are looking to recruit for a leading antibody CDMO a Business Development Manager based in New York or New Jersey. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a rapidly growing biotechnology organisation at the forefront of immuno-oncology, gene engineering, and preclinical drug discovery. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys engaging with scientists, building relationships, and helping accelerate the development of innovative therapies. The Role As a Business Development Manager, you will work closely with biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies to identify new business opportunities and develop long-term customer relationships. You'll represent the organisation at scientific conferences and industry events while promoting cutting-edge preclinical research solutions. Key Responsibilities Develop new business opportunities across biotech and pharmaceutical customers. Build and maintain relationships with key scientific and commercial stakeholders. Manage opportunities from initial contact through to contract negotiation. Attend conferences, exhibitions, and customer meetings. Support marketing initiatives to increase brand awareness. Develop a strong understanding of innovative preclinical technologies and communicate their value to customers. About You PhD in Life Sciences, Biology, Immunology, Pharmacology, Biotechnology, or a related discipline. Strong interest in combining science with business development. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Confident networking with scientists and industry professionals. Commercial or business development experience is advantageous but not essential. Willingness to travel for customer meetings and scientific conferences.
