Respiratory Therapist Overview GLI) is seeking a dedicated and skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at a healthcare facility in Los Angeles. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing, treating, and caring for patients. Responsibilities Diagnosing and treating chronic respiratory diseases, prescribing medications, and advising patients on the management of their illnesses. Providing essential respiratory care for neonate, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. Perform direct and indirect patient care duties under the supervision of the Director of Respiratory Care. Responsible for independently utilizing respiratory care therapy to safely, therapeutically, and efficiently care for a group of patients based on policies and procedures. The Ambulatory Respiratory Therapist functions as an independent clinical contributor responsible for the day-to-day operations of a Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT) laboratory in an outpatient setting. Qualifications Requires critical thinking skills, effective communication skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment. Compensation and Schedule Hourly pay ranges from $29.41 to $39.00. Some positions offer yearly salaries between $130,000.00 and $233,875.00. Work schedules include full-time, part-time, and PRN days.
