In alignment with our Microsoft values, we are committed to cultivating an inclusive work environment for all employees to positively impact our culture every day.As a Director of Account Technology Strategy, you will act as both a virtual CTO and sales leader developing the technology strategy for one of our largest and most complex strategic accounts in Health & Life Sciences. You will serve as the voice of the customer and an internal advocate across Microsoft. You will partner with senior customer leaders to understand future business needs, identify opportunities for digital transformation, and articulate how Microsoft technologies and services can deliver differentiated business value. Candidates must have authorization to work in the United States that does not now or in the future require employer sponsorship.Additional or preferred qualificationsBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business or related field AND 14+ years technical consulting, technical consultative selling, practice building, or related technical/sales/industry experience OR equivalent experience.5+ years experience in digital transformation or using technology to drive customer business outcomes.4+ years experience in business consulting, consultative selling, or change management.5+ years experience leading technical, support, and/or partner teams.Experience serving as a technical strategist and trusted advisor to executive stakeholders, developing cross-solution technology strategies and roadmaps across Azure, Security, Data & AI, Modern Work, and Business Applications, including large-scale AI transformation initiatives such as Copilot, Agentic AI, data platform modernization, and cloud-native innovation.Knowledge of regulated healthcare, pharmaceutical distribution, supply chain, security, compliance, and global operations.Strategic Account Technology IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $130,900 - $251,900 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $165,600 - $272,300 per year.
