ACTIVE SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TS/SCI POLYGRAPH LEVEL IS REQUIRED

We are seeking a creative, inventive Artificial Intelligence (AI) Engineer in support of the Report Authoring and Dissemination (RAD) team. In this high-impact role, you will bridge AI innovation and operational reality by working side-by-side with software and system engineers to design, prototype, and integrate agentic AI capabilities directly into the existing RAD architecture. Rather than training models from scratch, your focus will be applying existing state-of-the-art Large Language Models (LLMs) to solve real mission challenges. You will construct agentic solutions—coordinated networks of AI agents and engineered prompts—that transform manual workflows into automated, high-throughput reporting, directly empowering intelligence operations.

The annual base salary range for this role is $150,000-$250,000 (USD) , which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.

, Required Skills

LLM Integration Application: Proven experience applying existing Large Language Models (LLMs) to practical operational workflows and business logic.

Agentic Systems Prompt Engineering: Hands-on experience designing and deploying agentic solutions, multi-agent frameworks, and complex prompt engineering strategies.

Workflow Automation: Strong capability to design, prototype, and integrate automated AI capabilities that replace or streamline manual tasks.

Collaborative Software Engineering: Ability to work closely with systems and software engineering teams to seamlessly integrate AI features into existing, complex system architectures.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline, PLUS 7+ years of professional software engineering experience OR  High School Diploma / GED , PLUS 11+ years of hands-on technical software development experience in lieu of a degree.

, Desired Skills

Report Authoring Dissemination (RAD): Familiarity or experience with intelligence reporting, authoring frameworks, or dissemination workflows.

AI Orchestration Frameworks: Experience with frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, AutoGen, CrewAI, or similar agent orchestration tools.

API Development Integration: Proficiency building and consuming RESTful APIs or web services to support AI backend integration.
