Job Description

The clinical nurse will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement a comprehensive plan of care for assigned patients. This role involves performing professional nursing duties that utilize psychomotor and age-appropriate cognitive skills for the patient, family, and significant others to assess, plan, intervene, and advocate for patients throughout their continuum of care. Responsibilities include evaluating patient outcomes, the effectiveness of the care plan, and readiness for discharge; revising plans or making referrals as necessary.

Qualifications

• Previous Charge Experience: 2 years

• Community Hospital Experience

  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • CPI
  • MAB
• Skills Required:
  • BiPAP/CPAP management
  • Cardiac Telemetry
  • Care of Ventilated Patients
  • Interpretation of Dysrhythmias
  • Management of Cardiac and Vasoactive Drips (no titration)
  • Management of Dysrhythmias
  • Pacemaker Management (Temporary/Permanent)
  • Post Cardiac Angiogram Care
  • Post Myocardial Infarction Care
  • Pre/Post Cardiac Catheterization Care
  • Telemetry Management
  • TR Band Utilization
  • Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR)

• References: Two supervisor references are required when applying.
