Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 16 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of RN experience required License: Valid RN license required Certifications: BCLS Must-Have: - Epic experience required - Previous oncology experience preferred but not required - Interpretation of dysrhythmias - Accessing Ports - Arterial line management - Blood product administration - Central line care/management - PICC line management - IV start - Assist with chest tube insertion/removal - High flow nasal cannula management - Interpretation of arterial blood gases Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse in the Medical Surgical/Telemetry specialty. The position involves working with adult and geriatric patients in a medical surgical oncology setting. The majority of patients require continuous cardiac monitoring related to chemotherapy administration. You will provide diagnostic services, chemotherapy, and symptom management. A heavy focus on infection prevention protocols and patient falls is critical. Teamwork is essential as you will collaborate with interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and social services. Responsibilities include managing comorbidities and providing high-quality patient care. Previous travel experience is preferred.
