Licensed Practical Nurse - Night Shift

Role Description This full‑time, on‑site Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Night Shift role is located at our campus in Quitman, GA. The LPN provides direct resident care, including administering medications, performing treatments, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with activities of daily living in accordance with care plans and physician orders. The role includes observing and documenting resident conditions, promptly reporting changes to the supervising nurse or provider, and supporting safe transitions of care. The LPN collaborates with other care team members, including CNAs and RNs, to maintain a clean, safe, and person‑centered environment. Night shift responsibilities also involve responding to emergencies, providing comfort and reassurance to residents, and ensuring accurate end‑of‑shift reporting and documentation. Qualifications Current, unrestricted LPN license in the state of Georgia; Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification or ability to obtain upon hire. Demonstrated clinical skills in medication administration, wound care, and monitoring vital signs in a long‑term care or similar setting. Strong documentation, time management, and organizational abilities, with attention to accuracy and regulatory compliance. Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate respectfully with residents, families, and interdisciplinary staff. Ability to work night shifts on a consistent schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed, and to respond calmly in urgent situations. Commitment to person‑centered, compassionate care that aligns with a faith‑based, mission‑driven organization; prior senior living or geriatric experience preferred.
