The Opportunity
We are looking for a Sales Coordinator who enjoys being the person customers and sales representatives can count on. You will help manage customer orders from initial entry through delivery, answer questions, resolve order issues, and coordinate with internal departments to keep everything moving.

This is a hands-on position for someone who understands how manufacturing or distribution businesses operate, is comfortable working in SAP, and can balance customer communication with the details behind each order.

What You'll Do

• Serve as a key contact for customers who need assistance with orders, delivery dates, product availability, and order changes.
• Enter and manage customer orders in SAP, ensuring information is accurate and complete.
• Partner with sales representatives to follow up on customer requests, outstanding orders, and account needs.
• Investigate order discrepancies, backorders, shipping issues, and delays, working with the appropriate departments to find solutions.
• Coordinate with production, inventory, and shipping teams to obtain order updates and communicate realistic delivery expectations.
• Prepare quotes, order confirmations, and other documentation to support the sales process.
• Keep customers and the sales team informed when order details or delivery schedules change.
• Maintain organized customer records and ensure order information is updated in SAP.
• Follow open orders through completion rather than simply passing issues along to another department.

What We're Looking For

• At least one year of experience in customer service, sales coordination, order management, or a similar role.
• Required hands-on SAP experience processing sales orders in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Experience working directly with customers while supporting a sales team.
• Familiarity with order fulfillment, shipping coordination, inventory, or production schedules.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to follow through on customer requests.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail when managing multiple orders.
• A proactive approach to resolving issues and keeping customers informed.
• Experience with electrical products, industrial components, or other technical products is a plus.
