About the Position

Description: We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for our Intensive Care Unit. The position requires a minimum of two years of experience in an ICU setting. Candidates must possess valid nursing licensure and the required certifications. The ideal candidate will have experience with hemodynamically compromised patients. Common patient diagnoses include oncologic emergencies, respiratory distress syndrome, and sepsis. Candidates should be comfortable performing complex procedures such as mechanical ventilation and arterial pressure monitoring. Previous charge experience is preferred. Travel experience is required. The unit cares for adults and geriatric patients, with an average daily census of 23. Candidates must be prepared for a fast-paced environment with a focus on critical care. Orientation hours are provided to familiarize staff with unit protocols and equipment. This role may entail a combination of duties and responsibilities based on department needs. Candidates will be expected to deliver high-quality patient care in a challenging and rewarding setting.
