This role involves working on a high acuity surgery trauma floor, providing patient care in a dynamic environment. A strong emphasis is placed on team collaboration, with support from Nursing Support Techs, phlebotomists, and unit secretaries.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Provide comprehensive care to surgical trauma patients, including those with gunshot wounds, quadriplegic and paraplegic conditions.
• Collaborate with ED nurses and the admitting unit for effective nurse handoffs.
• Maintain a 5:1 patient ratio, ensuring high-quality care.

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Current BLS certification required, ACLS preferred
• EPIC proficiency required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Med Surg specialty
