Manage a patient ratio of 1 nurse to 4 patients. Care for patients with conditions such as sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergencies, respiratory failure, COPD, chronic kidney disease, type 2 diabetes, substance abuse, status epilepticus, and encephalopathy. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Utilize critical thinking skills and clinical knowledge to assess and treat patients. Demonstrate strong communication skills to educate patients and families. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical protocols and procedures. Adhere to all safety and infection control guidelines. Participate in ongoing professional development and training.
