Position Title Girls Soccer JVC Assistant Coach (2026-2027 Fall season) Reports To Athletic Director Position Overview Bishop Blanchet High School is seeking a Girls Soccer JVC Assistant Coach for the 2026-2027 Fall season. Applicants with previous coaching experience at the HS level, 21 years or older, possessing a valid Washington State driver's license and current First Aid/CPR/AED certification are preferred. This position reports to the Girls Varsity Head Coach and Athletic Director. Season dates: August 24, 2026 to November 21, 2026. Responsibilities Compliance with all Bishop Blanchet HS, Metro League, and WIAA policies, procedures, and coach certification/education. Supervision of student-athletes during all team activities. Practice and game times vary throughout the week. Coaches must be available between 3‑9 pm Monday‑Friday and limited Saturdays. Effective communication with players, coaching colleagues, and parents. Promotion of sportsmanship, camaraderie, and fair play among team members. Maintenance and inventory of team equipment and apparel. Teaching rules of soccer and techniques to improve player development. Qualifications Previous coaching experience at the high‑school level. Minimum 21 years of age. Valid Washington State driver's license. Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification. Compensation Stipend: $2,000–$2,500. Salary determined based on internal equity, market data, applicant’s skills, experience, degrees, and certifications. This position is not benefits‑eligible.
