Sr. DevOps Engineer
Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Sr. DevOps Engineer to join their team. As a Sr. DevOps Engineer, you will be part of the Quant Analytics Platforms team supporting the Chief Data Office. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.
Location: Owings Mills, Maryland (Hybrid)
Pay Range: $71/hr W2
What's the Job?
- Automate operational tasks using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Terragrunt, and Helm for Kubernetes deployments.
- Optimize CI/CD pipelines and streamline deployment processes to enhance efficiency.
- Ensure platform high availability and reliability to support critical analytics workloads.
- Implement robust observability and alerting systems for proactive issue detection.
- Implement security best practices in compliance with regulation and enterprise standards.
What's Needed?
- 5+ years of experience with AWS services including IAM, EC2, EKS, CloudWatch, and networking components.
- Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Terragrunt, Helm, and version control systems like Git.
- Strong scripting skills in Python and Shell scripting.
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving issues in test and production environments.
- Knowledge of distributed file storage technologies such as NFS or FSx for OpenZFS is advantageous.
