SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Supervised by Director of Facility and Operations.

SUPERVISION EXERCISED: N/A

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:
Based on daily schedule for the Facility Director, sets up rooms for activities/meetings, including arranging chairs and tables. Cleans building, including washrooms, work areas, kitchens, internal and external windows, care of floors. Ensures that adequate cleaning supplies are available. Notes needed repairs and performs basic repairs such as changing light bulbs. Acts as evening security person by buzzing in tenants and others. Secures building for the night, including locking up and activating alarm system. NOTE: This list is not exhaustive.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Conscientiousness. Care with details. Ability to assess when things are adequately cleaned. Ability to exercise judgement about people entering the building.

EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING:
Knowledge of house cleaning methods. Ability to follow verbal instructions. Demonstrated reliability in safety matters.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Works until 10:00 p.m. in inner city area, often alone. Lifting chairs, tables and boxes of supplies (25 pounds or more).

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Current valid driver’s license.
