Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for an experienced pharmacist to support a 49-bed hospital in Jackson, WY, on an 8-week travel assignment with a possible extension. This role is critical to maintain pharmacy operations while covering for staff on extended leave.
Location:
- Jackson, Wyoming
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday: 6:15 AM to 7:00 PM
- Saturday and Sunday: 7:15 AM to 12:00 PM (on-call after hours)
- Current staff schedule consists of 10-hour shifts with one weekend per month; flexible interim scheduling available (e.g., 7 days on/7 days off).
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive inpatient pharmacy services with minimal training required.
- Utilize Cerner and Pyxis systems effectively to ensure accurate medication dispensing and management.
- Collaborate with the pharmacy director and remaining pharmacy staff to maintain seamless operations.
- Ensure patient safety and compliance with hospital pharmacy protocols.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Valid Wyoming pharmacist license.
- Minimum of two years inpatient pharmacy experience.
- Strong proficiency with Cerner and Pyxis systems.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- One managerial reference validating your experience and professionalism.
