Keep reading. The Senior Technical Writer for Weiler Labeling Systems is responsible for the overall generation of supporting manuals for customers and others. These manuals define system architecture (using drawings), describe functionality, and describe operational techniques as well as maintenance requirements. They also provide lists of spare parts. Gather and research information for use in technical documentation Write technical materials, such as equipment manuals, appendices, and operating and maintenance instructions Interface with engineering, production and service personnel as required to ensure accurate information Produce high-quality manuals that are clear, concise and easy for the end user to utilize Coordinate activities to allow for other team personnel to review and comment on draft copy before production of final manual Qualifications Bachelor’s degree preferred 5+ yrs experience in Technical Writing for Industrial Machinery or similar equipment/industry Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications – including Word, Excel, Visio, and Power point Excellent writing skills including grammar Basic understanding of machinery design from an overview perspective.
