This role has responsibility for the design, testing, planning and implementation of complex business and technical projects to meet the goals and priorities of the organization.This position will be with Stratacor, an affiliate of Delta Dental of Minnesota.Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment authorization at this time.Essential FunctionsResponsible for the delivery of all phases of a project: initiation, planning, execution, and closureFacilitates initial discussions with key business partners to establish project priorities, identify success criteria and set target completion datesManages an implementation team of cross-regional, cross-functional teams to develop/implement/integrate new business initiatives or operationsAligns teams to ensure the project meets the goals of the business planCreates project plans, manages risks and issues, reports progress, and delivers quality projects within specified timeframes while also establishing service and efficiency objectivesKeeps abreast of changes that impact scope and work efforts and communicates impacts to the implementation team and management, as appropriateWorks with other process areas to manage end-to-end configuration activities; i.e. high-level process work, as impacted by new business or productEnsures process compliance with corporate implementation strategies and initiatives (policies, procedures, and tools)Other duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesAbility to work effectively and efficiently toward goals in a complex, diverse environment with multiple and changing demandsKnown for effective project management leadershipThorough knowledge of project management methodologies, phases, techniques and toolsIdentifies, develops, and initiates innovations and solutions where precedents and procedures may not existWorks cross-functionally to solve problems and implement changesWorks with senior management to resolve complex problemsDemonstrates superior inter-personal skills, conflict resolution and negotiating skillsRegularly makes decisions and takes independent action on matters directly affecting strategic goalsFamiliar with software testing approaches and test automation toolsEducation and ExperienceMinimum of three (3) years of project management experienceExperience leading complex implementations, including multiple application integration challengesDemonstrated leadership skillsBachelor's degree in business or related field2 years managing projects in a health care environmentPMP certification preferredWork Environment/Physical DemandsTravel Requirements: MinimalWeight Lifting Requirements: up to 20 lbs.Sedentary Work: Prolonged periods of sitting at a work station while working at a computerRelationshipsReports To: Director of PMO and Vendor RelationsDirectly Manages: NoneInternal Relationships: All business unitsExternal Relationships: Existing and new corporate partners, customers and vendorsBenefits and CompensationBenefits for this position include medical, dental, vision, and life insurance; disability coverage, flexible spending plans, a 401(k) plan, Paid Time Off (PTO) and Holidays. The starting salary range for this position is between $74,000 and $92,500 annually. Salary offers will typically be made in the listed range. The Company takes into consideration a candidate's education, training, and experience, as well as the position's work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value, including merit process and internal pay alignment when determining the salary for potential new team member's.
