Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees.**What You'll Be Doing*** Operate excavators safely and efficiently to support daily production activities.* Load, move, and stockpile materials according to operational requirements.* Conduct pre-operation inspections and report equipment issues promptly.* Follow all safety policies, procedures, and environmental regulations.* Collaborate with team members to maintain productivity and meet production goals.**What Are We Looking For*** Demonstrated ability to safely and effectively operate excavators in a production or construction environment.* Strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance with company procedures.* Ability to perform equipment inspections and identify maintenance needs.* Dependable work ethic with strong teamwork and communication skills.* Capability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing operational needs.**Physical Demands*** Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb, and maintain balance throughout the workday.* Ability to frequently use hands and feet to operate equipment controls and perform inspections.* Ability to regularly enter and exit heavy equipment using steps and handholds.* Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment up to 50 pounds.* Ability to maintain visual awareness and depth perception required for safe equipment operation.**Conditions of Employment*** Successful candidate must submit to post-offer physical examination, drug screen, and background check.**Work Environment*** Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.**What We Offer*** Starting Pay $26.00 per hour DOE (depending on experience)* 401(k) retirement savings plan with an automatic company contribution as well as matching contributions.* Highly competitive benefits programs, including: + Medical, Dental, and Vision along with Prescription Drug Benefits. + Health Savings Account (HSA), Health Reimbursement Account (HRA), and Flexible Spending Account (FSA). + AD&D, Short- and Long-Term Disability Coverage as well as Basic Life Insurance. + Paid Bonding Leave, 10 days of Paid Vacation, 40 hours of Paid Sick Leave, and 10 Paid Holidays.Equal Opportunity Employer - Minority / Female / Veteran / Disabled
