COPYWRITER
Contract/Temp to Hire
In-Office Position
Location: West Houston
Pay range $25-27 hour depending on experience
We are looking for a highly-motivated Copywriter who has a passion for creating copy that will capture the company’s voice while conveying our company mission. To be successful in this position, you will be a capable of both creative ideation and rapid execution. As a Copywriter, you can expect to deliver content for branded collateral, digital advertising, webpages and occasionally traditional advertising.
Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and create effective, engaging content for our field markets while adhering to our established brand voice and guidelines
• Collaborate effectively with Team Members throughout the company
• Contribute and participate in planning and brainstorming sessions and meetings
• Editing, updating and copywriting for internal and external communications, advertising and web-based writing assignments, including:
  • Team Member profiles and community statements
  • Market fact sheets and press kits
  • Contributions to blog or social media
  • Invitations and flyers
  • Advertising or advertorials
• Article writing for our internal and external publications
• Ensure projects are completed with high quality and on schedule
• Proofing with familiarity on standard style guides
• Manage multiple projects and remain flexible through revisions while maintain a positive attitude and strong attention to detail

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Communications, English, or related field required
• 1-3 years of related experience required
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Positive attitude and ability to be flexible
• Proven ability to work across various Teams
• Strong Team player ethic
• Strong word processing and organizational skills
• Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and able to handle deadlines and prioritize
• A self-starter, conscientious about doing quality work on a timely basis
• Customer-oriented attitude with a strong sense of urgency and constant follow-up
• Able to work independently, quickly and efficiently
• Eager to take on challenges and learn new things to develop skills
