Senior Business Intelligence Engineer (Snowflake, Power BI)

Position Title: Senior Business Intelligence Engineer (Snowflake, Power BI)

Location : Remote

Duration : 12 months contract on W2

Job Summary:
Seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer to serve as the primary BI/analytics SME for Technology Operations, developing and enhancing dashboards and reporting solutions that provide insights into financial performance, portfolio health, resource allocation, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, enhance, and maintain complex Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations .
Build data models, write DAX/SQL , and perform report performance tuning.
Integrate Power BI with Snowflake and manage data refresh processes.
Develop solutions using Power Apps and Power Automate .
Gather business requirements and translate them into actionable analytics solutions.
Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to leadership.
Troubleshoot reporting/data issues and communicate complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills:

5+ years of BI/Data Analytics experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, Power BI Desktop & Service, DAX, Power Query .
Strong experience with Power Apps and Snowflake .
SQL, data modeling, dashboard development, and performance optimization.
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Experience working independently with business and executive stakeholders.

Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Data Science, MIS, or related field. PL-300 Power BI certification is a plus.
