Responsibilities Work in the deli and be on the frontlines of customer service—your smile can make the difference between a good shopping experience and a great one. In the bakery, help customers celebrate special moments and assist with orders. Work in the dry grocery department to ensure customers find the items they are looking for. Maintain detailed cleaning of shelves and department, check and maintain temperature control, verify dates, and dispose of lower quality food products. Help customers locate products, prepare and serve ready-to-eat food, and pack ready‑to‑sell products in proper containers and stock displays. Assist customers in ordering cakes, fulfilling deli orders, or finding the right produce. Keep areas clean, sanitized, and customer‑ready. Compensation The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances, based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
