• This is a freelance position, starting at 20 hours/wk through November 2026 and flexing up to 32hrs/wk, from November 2026 – May 2027.
• Compensation range for this role is $95-110/hr, commensurate with experience.

As an Associate Creative Director, you will develop winning creative solutions that deliver client satisfaction and meet the financial and business objectives of Jack Morton. You will work across a portfolio of B2C & B2B clients that spans industries from integrated experiences, digital media, and content programs with the potential to expand into live events. You will focus on developing solutions that drive audience engagement and communicate client messages. The range of your communication solutions may include digital interactive, video, live presentations, social media, web, display technology and other strategies. We are looking for a hands-on, digital-minded Associate Creative Director with a background in copy or design, and experience leading creative and design teams. You have a strong POV and are accountable for generating big, brave, bold creative ideas and making these ideas come to life (about 25% concepting, 75% execution). Your primary client is a research-driven account, and you'll be responsible for digesting and distilling key concepts via different forms of content and conversations with subject matter experts. You'll report directly to the VP, Executive Creative Director. What you'll be doing: Brand Expert: Skilled at mastering complex technical topics for diverse B2B and B2C audiences, pushing creative design boundaries, and connecting with unique audiences in unexpected ways. Digital-first Mindset: Proficient in crafting campaigns around digital assets (web banners, websites, social media, etc.) and spaces alongside web design and UX/strategy, while overseeing junior and freelance staff to ensure brand consistency and quality. Insight-Driven & Measurable: Be an expert in the strategy as outlined in the brief - able to provide strategic rationale for creative choices to give the work meaning and produce measurable results. Generating big creative ideas to address clients' business needs that are rooted in fresh brand, product, and audience insights. From draft to delivery, you are hands-on designing and executing big ideas. Participating in the development of the creative brief and partnering with the strategy team to ensure the work delivers on the brief. Presenting your ideas in a compelling way to internal audiences and clients. Helping to build the agency's reputation, profile and relationships with talent and clients. Collaborating across the worldwide agency's community of creative, strategy, growth, and operations colleagues to share ideas, resources, and best practices. Directing the creatives on your project teams and adding to the team culture. Foster a diverse, equitable, and inclusive team environment where different perspectives strengthen the work and different working styles are supported What you will bring: 5+ years of overall creative experience preferably at a brand or ideas-driven agency. Bachelors degree, preferably in communications, graphic design, digital media or related areas of study. Proven track record of delivering effective and outstanding creative work A background in copy or graphic design will be accepted. Experience with integrated marketing, media and digital communications campaigns preferred. Events or exhibits creative experience is a plus! Expertise in Microsoft PowerPoint; proficiency in Figma, and for candidates with design backgrounds, proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite. Ample hands-on work experience (you are a "do-er") coupled with some management experience (you can lead a team - formally or informally).
