Charge RN - MedSurg, Post-Surgical, Days

Role Provides and coordinates high-quality nursing care across the patient lifecycle, addressing operational issues during shifts. Acts as a resource and communicates patient status, departmental concerns, and staff needs to leadership. Offers clinical support based on census demands. Qualifications Graduate from an accredited nursing school; Bachelor's degree preferred. At least 1 year of hospital-based nursing experience; 2+ years preferred. Current RN license in Georgia or multistate licensure. Required certifications include BCLS, ACLS, PALS, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, NRP, and PEARS. Specialty certifications such as Advanced certification in the field and AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring are required or preferred based on unit. Emergency department nurses must obtain PALS within 30 days if not already certified.
