Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Front Desk Coordinator to be the first point of contact for our patients. The ideal candidate is friendly, detail-oriented, and has prior experience in a dental or medical office setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and check in patients with professionalism and warmth
Answer phones, manage appointments, and handle scheduling efficiently
Verify insurance and process patient information accurately
Collect payments and explain treatment plans or financial options
Maintain a clean and organized front office area
Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow
Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and confirmations
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of front desk experience (dental preferred)
Strong knowledge of dental insurance and billing procedures
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Proficient in dental software (Open Dental)
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
