Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Badge Access in Newberry SC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more. As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location you will help maintain a welcoming secure environment by managing visitor access verifying credentials monitoring entry points and responding to security-related concerns. You will provide outstanding customer service while supporting routine patrols and clear communication. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients employees visitors and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures security-related policies and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points; verify credentials visitor authorization and vendor access in accordance with site requirements.
• Maintain accurate visitor contractor and delivery records; issue and collect access credentials as directed by site procedures.
• Respond to access-control incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas including business operations receiving areas and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized access.

Minimum Requirements:

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
